Service Pricing
How we price your freight
Every shipment is different, so we quote each one based on the details of your freight. Here is what goes into a price and what to expect.
What affects a quote
-
Distance and lane
The miles between pickup and delivery, and how busy the lane is, set the starting point for every quote.
-
Weight and size
Pallet count, total weight and dimensions decide whether a load moves as full truckload, partial or less-than-truckload.
-
Equipment and handling
Temperature-controlled trailers, liftgates and other special equipment can change the price of a shipment.
-
Speed and timing
Expedited, hot-shot and emergency requests are priced differently from scheduled freight.
-
Stops and facilities
Multiple pickups or deliveries and facility requirements such as appointment windows are included in the quote.
-
Paperwork and reporting
Each quote is written out clearly so partners know what is included before a shipment is booked.
